Who is responsible

Mukazo is an independently operated project run by an individual, not a registered company. Privacy requests reach the operator through support@mukazo.com (Mukazo Support) or the mailing address displayed on this page.

Scope and information collected

The prelaunch site provides shopping education and optional inquiries, store suggestions and launch updates. Contact forms collect your name, email, subject, topic and message; suggestions collect a store name and optional email; subscriptions record email, consent/policy version and timestamps. No customer accounts, orders, wallet, cashback tracking or financial records are collected.

Why information is used

Respond to inquiries, research requested stores, and send specifically requested launch updates only after confirmation. Inquiries and suggestions do not enroll anyone in marketing. We do not sell submitted information or use it for targeted advertising in this release.

Services and spam protection

IONOS Mail Basic hosts support@mukazo.com. Configured service providers: Cloudflare for protected hosting, security, Turnstile and D1 form storage; Resend for transactional email. Forms accept submissions only where an enabled form is shown. Disabled forms do not store or send submissions. When enabled, contact notifications include the submitted name, email, subject and message in the support mailbox. Providers process information to operate these services, including in the United States and other locations under their service terms. Turnstile processes browser/network signals for abuse prevention; server rate limits use a short-lived keyed IP digest. Do not submit sensitive information.

Cookies and measurement

The site includes no advertising, third-party fonts or analytics. Hosting/security providers may process technical request data. Protected staging also requires the hosting provider’s sign-in/session processing. We do not track browsing across other websites for advertising. Browser Do Not Track signals do not change this behavior because no such tracking is used.

Retention and suppression

When the form service is enabled, database cleanup runs on a five-minute schedule: unconfirmed subscriptions are deleted after 7 days; inquiries and suggestions after 90 days; resolved encrypted email jobs after 7 days; delivery events after 30 days; request-deduplication and rate-limit records after 24 hours. These are cleanup thresholds, not guarantees of immediate removal if the service is disabled or unavailable. Unsubscribing stops updates immediately; the raw subscription email is removed after 30 days. A keyed email digest, token hashes and consent/status timestamps remain for suppression and consent records; this is not complete erasure. Active subscriptions remain until withdrawn. Support mailbox copies are managed separately: deletion is manual, not covered by the database cleanup. Provider logs, security records and recovery copies are governed by the providers’ retention settings and may persist beyond deletion from the active database. We do not promise an automated 90-day purge of IONOS or Resend copies.

Your choices and requests

Confirmation and unsubscribe links are purpose-specific. Unsubscribe without signing in using your link, or email support@mukazo.com. Requests for access, correction or deletion require proportionate verification; never send identity documents through this form. Deletion requests are handled manually by the operator, including review of matching database records, queued emails and mailbox copies. Unsubscribing is not the same as requesting deletion. We retain only justified suppression/legal records and explain any exception. Provider-held records and recovery copies may require separate provider handling. We respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. If you disagree with a response, reply to the privacy contact to request a further review. Information may be retained where required by law or necessary to prevent abuse.

Children, security and changes

The intended audience is adult US shoppers. No child-directed service is planned. Access controls, encryption and limited retention reduce risk without guaranteeing security. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. If a change materially affects confirmed subscribers, we will also notify them by email before applying the change.
